The leader of Reform UK, Nigel Mwangi Ndungu Farage, publicly denied the wave of fresh rumours that he’s a Kenyan citizen and not a natural-born Brit. “These conspiracy theories are levelled by the extreme left to undermine me as a legitimate leader of the British people,” claimed Farage, while appearing in his characteristic African dashiki and a kufi hat.
He made a strong appearance in front of the crowd at Clacton and insisted that he will not be cowed by these rumours. He told the crowd that, “I won’t be deterred, and as far as I’m concerned ‘shida hukunoa akili’ [trouble only sharpens the mind], as they say in the village of Mapendo Kijiji — which I have no connection to whatsoever”.
At press time, Farage insisted that he would be a natural-born British citizen no matter what country he was from.
