How To Tell If Your Husband Is Being Unfaithful To The Geneva Convention

Is your husband coming home late without any explanation? Is he overly secretive about his WhatsApp messages? Did he recently approve $26 billion of military aid for Israel? You might not like to hear it, ladies, but maybe ‘Mr Right’ is being unfaithful to the Geneva Convention. 

“Of course, that’s not to say that only husbands can be unfaithful, many women do it too,” explained couple’s therapist, Johanna Moss PhD. “But if you do find out that your husband is a US president who keeps supporting, funding, and arming the aggressors of a genocide — like Israel — that’s a reliable indicator that they are being unfaithful. Being unfaithful is not just an American problem, either. Maybe they’re you're married to a Prime Minister who’s allowed £42 million worth of defence exports to Israel since coming into office.” 

Johanna also suggested keeping an eye out for some less obvious signs too. “Try to notice if any of your spouse denies refugees their right to seek asylum from persecution, or happily risks subjecting them to refoulement. Or maybe they’ve reneged on key UK government climate policies and given their avid support for expanding oil and gas extraction in the North Sea.” As she explained, “that would indicate a more general disregard for human life.”
